スウェーデンはグスタフスベリ製陶所に在籍した作家、ベルント・フリーベリの黄色い小振りな酒盃サイズの作品です。全体に鮮やかな黄釉が掛けられ、その上から薄緑の釉が二重掛けされて、お互いが混ざり合い、全体を美しく流れております。まるで苔むした様な緑釉が全体に現れており、口縁の釉は拭かれて、グラデーションがすっと流れております。釉の毛並みもチリチリとした細かなもので、 口先から高台まできれいに流れ落ちております。形は、定番の碗なりのもので、見込みが深いものです。口縁は少し手捻りで歪められております。ミニチュアとまではいきませんが、小振りなサイズで、酒盃として普段使いいただけそうな良いサイズと手取りをしております。見込みに茶色い釉のシミが現れておりますが、状態はたいへんによろしいものです。
This is a small yellow sake cup size piece by Bernd Friberg, an artist who worked at the Gustavsberg pottery in Sweden. The entire pottery is covered with a bright yellow glaze, over which a light green glaze has been applied in double layers, mixing with each other and flowing beautifully. The green glaze looks as if it were covered with moss, and the glaze on the rim of the mouth has been wiped away to reveal the white gradation of the base. The furrows of the glaze are also fine and flow down beautifully from the tip of the mouth to the base of the bowl. The shape is that of a standard bowl, with deep prospects. The rim of the mouth has been distorted by hand. It is not quite miniature, but small enough to be used as a sake cup on a daily basis, and has a good size and handle. There are some brown glaze stains on the edge, but the condition is very good.
